Admissions

Admissions has been retired from this system

Applications, review workflows and decision processing were removed in August 2026 — a different system is taking them over. The pages that described them have been deleted rather than left to mislead.

The form builder used to sit under this menu group, which is the only reason the group outlived admissions. It is a general-purpose tool, not part of admissions, and it has moved to Administration → System Configuration.

What remains

Nothing in the sidebar. The Admissions menu group is gone: migration 209 moved the form builder to Administration → System Configuration and demoted the ADMISSIONS permission node out of the menu, leaving it as a container for the grants below.

What happened to the rest

  • Applications and decisions — no longer served by this system. The /admissions/* API endpoints are gone; the sidebar entries for Applications and Dashboard are gone.
  • The applicant portal (/apply, /my-application) — removed, along with its magic-link login screen.
  • The database is untouched. The admissions schema and every row in it survive, because the replacement system may keep them.
  • Applicant records are still real. A person becomes an applicant by applying, which is business logic that outlives the admissions UI, so /roles/applicants continues to work and is still gated on ADMISSIONS.APPLICATIONS.

Two ADMISSIONS.* permission nodes were kept deliberately: ADMISSIONS.APPLICATIONS (applicant records) and ADMISSIONS.SCORES.VERIFY (test-score verification), plus ADMISSIONS.TEST_SCORES for the person-record tab. Migrations 166 and 167 record which nodes were retired and which were kept, and why; 209 recoded the two form-builder nodes ADMIN.FORM_BUILDER and ADMIN.FORM_BUILDER.RESPONSES.
