Manage person records, user accounts, and role assignments.

Overview

The people system manages:

• Base person records (demographics, contact info)
• User accounts (authentication)
• Role assignments (student, faculty, advisor)

Important Concept: Roles Are Derived

Roles are assigned based on actions, not created directly:

Role	How Assigned
Student	When person registers for a class
Teacher	When person is assigned to teach
Advisor	When person is assigned advisees
Applicant	When person submits application

A person can have multiple roles simultaneously.

Workflow

Create Person → Create User Account → Actions Create Roles
                                      ↓
                              Register = Student
                              Teach = Teacher
